My maternal grandmother died yesterday.  This was not entirely unexpected, but it hurts like hell.

I'm just glad she finally let go and is free from her pain.

The funeral is Thursday.  I won't be attending.  I said my goodbyes in September.   I'm going to grieve in my own way.

I miss her terribly.
