Writer's Block: A Bargain at Any Price
4 out of the 5 trench coats I own were bargains, and I love each and every one; however, my favorite of the bunch is the one that belonged to my husband -- it became mine after he got a new leather trench for Christmas a few years ago. Two of the trench coats -- one canvas (bought for less than $5), one leather (bought for about $10) -- were purchased from a Goodwill in Burlington, NJ during a vacation in 2004. The fourth trench coat is a tan London Fog, an Ebay purchase of something like $25 (it was like new); it was taken to a tailor to get the sleeves removed, and is my favorite early fall/late spring overcoat.
Also, though not exactly objects... I love my kitties. They were bargains (if you don't count vet bills) as one was a rescue from a friend who moved to a no-kitty apartment, the other two were strays that we took in off the streets. They are my babies, they are my joy. I wouldn't trade any of them, ever.
