I am writing this post on May 8, 2014, and back-dating it to June 3, 2013. Ruthie's stats at her 7-year-old checkup were 57 pounds, 48 inches.

Ruthie's stats at her 6-year-old checkup: 49 pounds, 46 inches tall.

I am posting this on March 11, 2014, and back-dating it to May 2010. At Ruthie's 4-year checkup she was 41 inches tall, and her weight appears not to have been recorded on social media by me.

Ruthie had her 3-year checkup this morning. It went very well. She is ridiculously healthy and after a very brief period of shyness when the doctor first came in, she warmed right up and was her usual chatterboxy self, climbing all over the exam table and the doctor's stool and so forth ( Read more... )

I was so excited about my name change yesterday that I neglected to post about Isaac's checkup. That's okay because it's really best forgotten. *facepalm* It was pretty awful. He got three shots and cried horrendously. :(
