Whew! We had a weekend, all right!

On Thursday it was ridiculously hot and I baked a whole bunch of stuff and the kitchen was like a sauna. d'oh.

On Friday we drove out to the cottage and it was ridiculously wet/rainy and cool, which was kinda sad. But we still managed to have a nice Fourth of July cookout with mom, sandykidd, metafrantic, Bastian, and family friend ( Read more... )

Another fun weekend at the cottage. A couple of Isaac's preschool friends came out and all the kids had a blast, even though one of them had fractured her wrist the day before and was in a cast. Oh man. What a weekend!

Yesterday we went to our family's summer cottage for the day. It's a little more than an hour's drive from home, which isn't bad, especially if a baby will sleep for part of the drive, which she did on the way out but not on the way back alas.
