I think the biggest blessing/curse that has been placed on my head by the universe is that I am empathetic. I feel the pleasure of others, and it makes me happy. The reverse is also true, in that when I hear someone having a hard time with life, it makes me sad... almost like its happening to me. Ok, so its taken me a few weeks to post these, but there was at least one weekend this summer that it didn't pour in New Hampshire, and we took the kids for the first time to the beach. Instruction on sandcastle building, burying people in the sand, and the eating of soft-serve ice cream was given, and a grand time was had by all.
