This week I've dragged my ass into work for half eight for a couple of days to make up some time I'd missed. Turned out that I didn't need to as they'd decided I didn't have to make it up and just hadn't told me. Typical!

I started the job on Monday. It’s going well and is no where near as bad as I thought it could be. The people are friendly, which makes a real change from some of the previous places I have worked. Going into town last night for Wookie's friend's birthday was no where near as bad as I was expecting it to be. I tend to exaggerate my thoughts a bit and get quite worked up about things which aren't really that big a deal. funkymonkey1986 was there too, so that was another person to chat with. Christmas has been blissfully relaxing in my household this year. It was just me and my parents, as due to Mum's illness we haven't had my grandparents over for the last couple of years. The last couple of days have been pretty chilled out; I've calmed down a lot in contrast to how stressed I was earlier in the week. Last night I saw The Corpse Bride! I didn't like it at first, but it grew on me.
