This time of year makes me feel really nostalgic. In high school Ms Vosburgh had us do a rendition of "Our Town", and though I was absent for the first part, I remember that at the end the girl dies, but revisits a random day from her past. And it's so beautiful that she can't take it and goes back to heaven. I think memories are like that in life too. Almost too bright and shining to take. Going to taco bell with Pauline during anime club. Wandering up and down the Thames. Riding in the bed of Lexi's dad's truck at the break of dawn. Shouting Celine Dion at the harbor at 2 am.
It's funny, because it's not really the big things you look back on that way. It's the little moments, ones you hardly thought anything of until they're gone.
