I posted some pics from the U.K. but did not really say much. This is all going to take me time to process because there was Scotland and Ireland all mixed in there. I also am trying not to read anyone else's report before doing this, so as to keep it fresh to my perspective.

Arrived home late last night/early this morning. Am "happy tired" - had a good vacation, though extremely "busy" but am equally glad to be home. Except for the pile of laundry.

E and I arrived yesterday, and I participated in the goodie bag stuffing while she did an airport run (back down in D.C.) with another STAT member (Star Trek Association of Towson - the group that puts SL on). Arrived back at E's house around 10:30 or 11pm last night (Sunday) after dropping her friend off at home.

We had a WONDERFUL visit with our friends in Indiana. The drive was long but well worth it!

Will be doing genealogy in VA/MD the next few days before heading to Shore-Leave.

Drove all night with friend E and her friend M from DC to Cinncinnati, where we dropped off M at 5:30am with her family for a visit. Arrived here about 10am after a quick McDonald's breakfast and nap, and a few "pit stops" slong the way. Had a couple hours' sleep and need a shower now, as soon as E is done. We're stopped over at E's friends and heading back to Reston (near DC) VA this morning then heading to Philadelphia for the 4th.

Hope all is well with my flist...no time to read today must drive!

I only got online very briefly at McDonald's - who knew they sold wifi access for $2.95/hour? - the other night to find someone's address and phone number and try to reach them by email since they weren't answering their phone.
