Busy busy
I am about to set my alarm for 7:45am so that I can be up, costumed, and over to John's before 9am, when we will all be caravaning downtown to the parade site. Parade starts at 11 and will run for a very long time. Then I hope to get in some perusing of the art fair (I really hope to find a parasol, but I know my chances are probably slim) before heading down to the Greek Fest for lunch/dinner. Then at 6pm we are to be at the Wine and Cheese Party plus Art Auction, which should be a fabulous crown to the evening.
I then hope to head out to Motor City Pride in Ferndale on Sunday. (So if anyone on that side of the state wants to hang out, mayhaps we can work something out.) I'd like to visit One World Market while I am out there, but it isn't a must, I just love the place dearly. Picking up powdered chai from Trader Joe's would also be nice. :]
I am probably going to spend a lot of money that I shouldn't this weekend. Sigh. I do have almost $1,000 in savings, and I plan to be rather frugal in Italy, so I should be okay. If nothing else, I can resort to making payments on my credit card. (Scandalous.)
