This sucks
I have a list of 16 things that need to get done this weekend. So far I've been able to mark off 5.5 of them. (Which meets my goal for the evening. Yay!)
One of the pairs of pants that I love and bought from Old Navy at the beginning of the month has completely worn through the thighs, which pisses me off. They're brand new! I bought them for work and Italy, and Italy is next weekend. My mother suggested that I take them back to the store, which I have added to my list for tomorrow. Luckily I hadn't thrown away the receipt.
I am possibly meeting my mother and grandfather downtown for the Art Hop (and then John and his girl (that sounds so weird) at 6 for same), so I have to complete a good chunk of my list before then. I may still go to Meijer tonight and shop for jeans. I figure a size 16 will fit me, so it won't matter if the fitting rooms are closed (and I have faith that they will be). I also need to buy some cheap pantyhose to wear with my skirt.
Speaking of skirt, with the help of LaRissa and a quick Google image search, I think I have a good idea for my "matured munchkin" outfit for the parade Saturday. It may actually not involve the skirt, and instead my pair of new black capris, but we'll see. It will definitely involve the black pleathery corset from New Orleans fame, and the blue and black pirate socks I purchased from Hot Topic. I should probably also put on rosy cheeks and other garish make-ups. This will be fun.
By the way, parade costume was not on my list of things to do. Hmm...
