Fatigue

So I got up early and went to John's for the Do-dah Parade dressed in my black skirt and pleather corset. I was immediately asked, "Are you the Wicked Witch?" "Uh, no." "Would you like to be?" "Uh, okay." "Can we paint your face green?" "Sure!" Thus I was painted, handed a witch's hat and a swiffer, and had my lips blackened. It was fun and so awesome. There will soon be about a billion pics I am sure, and I will be sure to link them here. (My dad is sending me pics of the Vicious Teddybears, which will also soon be posted.) It was exceedingly warm in the pleather, but so worth it. I rode to the site with our punk rock Glenda and as we were walking, someone else from another float asked to have her picture taken with us. XD We were a big hit, which is fantastic. Our lion boy was really genki and running all over the place. We had two flying monkeys dressed as "grease monkeys" complete with leather jackets that had "flying monkey" stitched across the back with little wings. One was on roller blades. Sooo much fun!

Then we wandered teh art fair, then we wandered to Greek Fest where we managed to get some drinks and baklava before a storm came rushing in, then we went to the wine and cheese party, which was also really awesome with lots of socializing. Rob bought one of LaRissa's paintings, and now I want her to make a similar one with blue instead of red. I might even have a request on a shape for the white space. I'll have to think this out later.

I can barely type right now, so I will just go to bed.
