Who: Sakura and YOU. Where: Parlor, library, possibly up to the second floor -- wherever, basically. When: Night 004. What: New ninja + paranoia + exploring. Warnings: Sakura's temper...?

Ooh wow! A girl with pink hair! Sakura was easily drawn to pretty thing and bright colors, so naturally while exploring the library, Sakura would no doubt approach the girl and strike up conversation.
Because joy of joys, Sakura Kinomoto was at that blissful, tender age where she doesn't realize that people couldn't absolutely adore her (or at least be friends with her). You wouldn't ruin that for her, would you? Would you, now?
"Wow! Your hair is so pretty!!"
Were you trying to sneak around, Miss Ninja-Person? Ooooops!
totally looking forward to it~nobrassknucklesDecember 10 2011, 20:19:59 UTC
Miss Ninja-person was, actually, and didn't exactly relish being snuck up upon by a little girl. So Sakura just stared at the other for a long moment, confused, wondering what kind of trick this might be before she realized that the girl had spoken to her.
"Ah -- thank you?"
Forgive her: she was normally a lot more polite and talkative than that, but she was rather thrown by the odd turn of events she'd landed in, and she trusted absolutely nothing at the moment.
Sakura giggled, beaming up at the nice girl. She wasn't quite as tall as her older brother, maybe a little younger? That made it easier, she didn't have to worry about being as polite!
"Your hair is pink!" Sakura declared, as though the other girl had yet to be notified. "It looks really soft!"

Casting another cautious look around, checking to make sure that nothing was going to come at her back (probably), Sakura let herself smile at the girl.
"Yeah. I was born with it like this," she said, way too used to people commenting on its strangeness. She bent down a little, to be more on the younger girl's level.

Sakura's mouth gaped side open, her already-big eyes growing as large as saucers. "My name's Sakura too! Who'da thunk it!!!"
Sakura took this to mean that they were obviously DESTINED to be the bestest of friends! They shared a name, after all!
"Did they name you that because of your sakura-colored hair? Huh? Whattaya think?" The thought was entirely novel to the little girl, and she sounded quite proud of this deductive reasoning.
Sakura couldn't help the brief laugh that escaped her. Of all the odd coincidences. (Or maybe not a coincidence at all.)
"I think that's exactly why they gave me that name, Sakura-chan."
Sure it was nothing the older girl hadn't heard before, but the other seems sincere and enthusiastic, which is much better than the mocking she's endured in the past.
"How about you? Did your parents have a reason for naming you that?"
Sakura beamed, and giggled as she looked up at the pink-haired girl. It was great to have another girl with her name. It must be destiny that they were brought together!
It was like being sisters in a way, wasn't it?
"It was my mother's favorite flower!" Sakura said this with great pride. Her mother was a beautiful model that everyone loved, and the few memories she had of her were fond.
