Who: Sakura and YOU. Where: Parlor, library, possibly up to the second floor -- wherever, basically. When: Night 004. What: New ninja + paranoia + exploring. Warnings: Sakura's temper...?
Ivanova had her ppg in hand, alert for danger as she passed through the hallways. She was on her way to the kitchen when she say the teenager down the hallway.
"Hello?" She asked cautiously, since some of the monsters were still very human looking.
Sakura whipped around rather suddenly. She was a bit on edge, after all, and still believed that this was all an illusion planted on her head; she had to be prepared for anything.
For a second, she wondered if any of the weapons on her person would be of any use here.
It couldn't hurt to say that much, right? She had to assume she'd been attacked for a reason, so that much information couldn't be too dangerous.
But she was still visibly tense as she regarded the other woman. Ivanova wasn't anyone she recognized, wore no village symbols of any kind -- hell, even the name sounded foreign to her. Sakura didn't know what to make of that, so when she continued, it was in a much blunter tone than she might normally adopt. "Where am I?"
"A handful that I've met. Maybe thirty at most. People seems to appear and disappear and I'm not sure how or why." Ivanova was having a hard time believing it herself.
"That was my first thought, but I've been stuck here for about a month, so I'm starting to doubt it. Logically, it could be a time compressed holographic image, but I don't think it's a telepathic projection."
She wasn't sure if that was making any sense to the girl, but if she had dyed her hair pink, she must be modern, right?
Ah. "I think it's one put in our heads by people. But I can't think of anyone who'd be able to pull off something this elaborate."
The possibility of it being an unknown element had definitely occurred to Sakura before, but the sort of power it would take wasn't something that went unnoticed in shinobi society.
Needless to say, Sakura wasn't convinced -- she wouldn't be until she sorted through things on her own, heard a little more compelling evidence. Evidence that didn't come from someone who could have been part of the whole lie.
"Unfortunately, not a lot. Nights and days are longer, and there are ghosts and monsters that roam at night. I haven't found anything that hurts them, although a few people apparently have the ability to stop them."
"Hello?" She asked cautiously, since some of the monsters were still very human looking.

"Who's there?"

"Susan Ivanova, who are you?" She left off the rank, to avoid the misconception that she held any authority here.

"There are others here?"
Not that any of them are real, probably.

After all, it didn't make sense that people were coming and going out of it. More likely that they were all part of the fabrication.

"What can you tell me about this place."
