My dad would have been 75 today. And he always was “Dad,” never “Father.” A father is a manly person who doesn’t like to show his feelings. His biggest praise is to cuff you on the shoulder and say, “Good job, son”, but deep down you know he loves you. Now forget that image-that wasn’t my dad.
Dad was warm, talkative and fun-right from the start.
