Tudor for the Win
I've started on my new Tudor kirtle, and this time I'm doing it the difficult way, as described on the Tudor costume page, which is much easier than I thought it would be and looks great! This time I'm making a front-opening kirtle, and it is boned in the front and sides with cable ties. I should get pictures up soon, as soon as my camera decides to co-operate.
I was also thinking about what SCA I can get out to this summer. I'd love to do War of the Trillium again. And if I don't have to work this weekend, maybe even Murder Melee in the Meadows! I also noticed that Casa Loma is having a Renaissance Faire, which sounds hokey but pretty fun. I might have to go out, now that I have a spiffy new outfit to wear!
