Good wine, good food... what's not to like?
I just got back from my etiquette dinner at the Tempest, and feeling a bit tipsy! (To my defense, I had champagne, and two glasses of wine) The whole dinner was so much fun! I met a lot of new people, and the food... OMG the food! First was butternut squash soup, then grilled halibut with spinach,potatoes, and roasted red pepper, and to finish off, a chocolate mouse. DELISH! I just do not get that kind of food in residence. If any of you happen to be in Wolfville at some point in your life, GO TO THE TEMPEST.
Not to mention for the wine we got Prosecco, then Grand Pre L'Acadie Blanc, THEN a Gaspereau Vineyards red which I forget the name of. It was all delicious. I wish I could afford to drink L'Acadie Blanc more often, it's gorgeous.
All for $30!
Okay, I think I need to take a shower, drink some water, and sleep this off.
