Busy Busy
I've been working "full time" lately, and seem to be out with people every day and/or evening I have off, but I'm trying really hard to make time for my costumes, and so far I'm making progress.
While shopping for bridal party shoes today with Karen and Roz I also managed to snag a pair of red heels for my masq ball ensemble! Since I ordered the wig for the outfit today that means all I have left for it is finding an appropriate red scarf/shawl. Wish me luck. ^_^b
As for Midna's progress, I managed to squeeze in some work in Monday painting the little details on the gloves that nobody will ever see >_< , as well as a little more black on the calf.
Tonight was supposed to be a big night for sewing, but we ended up having people over for Twin Peaks night after all, so sewing in the room was out of the question. However, I did get one glove re-assembled and painted, and a lot more black done. The second glove will get done tomorrow - it's not in the pic since it's kinda pinned right-sides-together at the moment.
I'm kinda tempted to animate the photos once I'm all done, could be neat. ^_^
.... or retarded.
Seems we're back to having regular Twin Peaks nights again! I'm excited.... tonight was episodes 11, 12, and 13. *chants* close to finding Bob! close to finding Bob! When I think back to the first few episodes though, I can definitely see that the show has lost a lot of it's charm. Apparently it gets cooler and creepier again, but you really can tell that Lynch was much less involved in these shows.
No pie for us tonight. Katherine was too busy, and I didn't have enough notice. Apparently Sarah is planning to bring one soon though. That should be interesting since she's an organics nut.
