I am so glad they arrived safely, especially since at one point in their travels, I75 came to a screatching halt b/c the police shut down the road b/c the town they were heading into was hit by a tornado! DUCK AND COVER!
OMG the winds outside are over 75 MPH right now... the rain and hail is actually coming in horizontally! EEK! I was not concerned until the sky turned green and the winds got so strong it has picked up those huge green 40lb trash cans we have!!! And most of the cans on my street are still FULL! where's the snow?!
OK, so coming to Michigan we planned for the snow... we brought all that cold weather gear we never have an oppertunity to use in TN/KY and guess what.... THERE IS NO SNOW!!! So we spent the 31st with the most important people... family and friends! In the morning we played lots of hand & foot and euchre with the family including my aunt who flew into town as a surprise from MN!
