As for the urge to eat - I'm right there with ya! When I feel like doing some emotional eating I try my best to eat protein - protein is dense and filling and we need extra protein anyway, after WLS. Nothing like snacking on a steak or something, LOL.

He comes home on the weekend sometimes... probably sunday. I feel like such a "nube" (newbie) missing him like a first time wife.
My problem is that my puch is definitly stretched, I can eat almost a cup of dense food at one time. So even eating protein doesn't work anymore. It sucks, I wish I could have "dealt" with this stuff when I was still in my window, KWIM? There was this series of classes offered by a local shrink about dealing with food issues but you had to be more than a year out.... does that make any freaking sense?

Hey - remember what you were like before? Re-read your blog, love! YOU ARE FREAKING GORGEOUS!!!! Now, as to missing the hubby, I think that's par for the course being a military wife. It forces you to think about and do things for YOU. So....DO IT!!! Keep yourself busy! I know exercising's a bitch, but DO IT ANYWAY!!! (I'm finding this out right now!!!) When he IS home, do what you can to make SURE he's happy!!! ;) (I've seen you together - I think you know what I mean!!!) (eg) ________________________________________________________________ Now, my memory of you... I never remember you NOT smiling!!!! :)

***I know what it's like to love someone so much, and not to be able to be with them on a day-to-day basis. My first X was in the Army. I know you read and exercise. What is there you can do "magickally"? I'm not talking about getting out the candles. I'm talking about ~~~ what have you put off? Herbs need grinding? Stones need cataloguing? Is there a book you've been wanting to read? How about aromatherapy? Lavender in your bath, maybe? What can you make? Dream catchers? What is your particular specialty? _____________________________________________________________________
***As for my memory . . . Photo Nazi. I think that about says it all. I still have the picture taken at the Renaissance Dinner. I even look Nice in that one! Thank you so very much.
