Biting my lip I turned away from them, unable to even fathom looking as either of them drank blood, human or not. I didn't want any part of this, I just wanted to go home and pretend none of this happened.
Wouldn't even tell Buffy or Willow if they'd both let me out of here now alive. But the looks on their faces that wasn't going to happen anytime soon.
“This spell. Gonna be painful? And now long ‘s it gonna take?”
Shaking my head I turned to see Spike looking at me, breaking me from my thoughts. I paused and blinked at him, trying to process what he just asked me.
I looked at Spike and ran my fingers through my hair. "I...I don't know." I'm not sure if I should be totally honest or if I should sugar coat things. Better off telling him everything so he doesn't have a reason to change his tune about letting Wesley bite me.
"Never...I've never done a spell like this, I don't know w-what will happen. I have to see the books at the s-shop first." Crossing my arms tighter around me I looked over at Wes then at Spike again. Without saying anything I started to walk out the door, seeing Spike close behind me.
I wasn't running, they knew it. I was going to the shop, trying to think of all the bright sides to this and hoping that getting out alive would be one of them. "I-I don't need much, just a few things and t-the orb." I don't know where you want to do this but it h-has to be quiet where I can work.
Maybe this'll be ok afterall. I had to be positive. Somehow.
