Rest in Peace, Uncle Archie. You were loved. Although you were in a wheelchair my entire life, you always seemed to be the happiest one at the get-togethers. You had this quiet joy about you, which made everyone else around you happy. I'm sorry I lost contact with you. I'm so, so sorry I didn't get the chance to say good bye. Please just understand that as far apart as we were, I loved you so very, very much. It tears me up inside to know that you're gone. That I'll never be able to see you in a small Sparta parade, being pushed along, you wearing your military uniform, with your quiet pride. I remember that as a child, I was so proud of you. I was so proud to be able to point you out to my friends. I'm sorry it's been years since I've seen you. I'm sorry I never made my pride in you known. I'm so very, very sorry.

First Mary, and now Uncle Archie... who's next?
