Uneventful week so far. Work could be going better, but I've no real complaints. Going to start hunting for a job soon though, because it occurs to me that I could be doing much better for myself than a meager $11 an hour. I'm thinking with my qualifications, I can be making at least $4 more, if not more. So I'll be getting on that.
Things are going well with Paul, he's insisting on taking me to King Richard's Faire this Sunday, despite my protests that I don't want him spending any more money on me. I told him I get to treat him a few times before he's allowed to treat me anymore. All in all, there are worse things one can complain about.
My budding social life is amazing these days. The Sunday night dinners are great, the guest list seems to keep increasing. It's getting expensive, but I still feel like it's kind of worth it. Eric hasn't been around for them lately, but I'm guessing that's cos he got a new job, and will show up the next time he's free. Plans have changed off and on, so we're not always actually at home having dinner. But nonetheless, a social routine with friends is great. And having them around is significantly improving my mood - I think moreso than dating someone.
I've been sick for a few weeks, finally starting to feel better. Gotta run to the market tomorrow - gonna make some homemade soup. Oughta be promising.
