Our 1st Anniversary
We had a nice time at Ian and Nicky's last night. The kids didn't get to bed until midnight. Eric and Skye thought it was great to stay up so late because they had friends over. The kids all slept in Eric's room. Matt and I had a bed in the spare room.
We woke at about 7am - the kids had been up considerably earlier!!
We did the coffee eyeball opener, then Nicky made pancakes for breakfast. I'll have them twice today, since we are going to the Pancake Manor for dinner. Nicky and I went to the market to get some fruit and veges, and then Matt and I and the kids went home.
Andrew and Marion came over. Marion had finally put our wedding on DVD for us to see - a year later. Shame my dad didn't get to see it before he died. I think Marion felt bad about that, and that's why she's done it now, so soon after his death.
Matt's parents came over too. They wished us a Happy Anniversary, and went on to discuss the kitchen in their flatette. Matt and John will be ripping the old kitchen out tomorrow.
Missa dropped Rose over for a while, so she could go clothes shopping. When she came back, with her friend, she took River and Blade home with her. I woke Storm and bathed him, then I took him to McDonald's to get their dinner, and dropped him over there as well.
I dropped David at the Monier Hotel, where he is working, and picked up beer for John. When I got home, I woke Matt from his afternoon nap, and we got ready to go out to dinner.
