Right, so it's that time of the year again. Tha wonderful exciting time of year wherein I always have such high hopes and expectations, and wherein my creativity always deserts me just when I need it the most.
Halloween.
Help a girl out! At home, I have access to a full (and quite varied) wardrobe -- here, I'm pretty much limited to every-day clothes and a couple of semi-formal dresses (including a fair bit of red and black). Assets: A friend who's ready and willing to straighten my hair (which might be costume enough in itself, as I doubt anyone would recognize me), lots of interesting shoes, perfect willingness to draw on my own face, etc.
Last year, someone (Lex? Mom?) came up with the brilliant idea of myself in 10 years. Which worked out well, I think -- some subtle age lines, slightly exaggerated version of my usual outrageousness in terms of hair and fashion, my glasses (which I never ever wear in real life), and exaggerated scattiness (notes written all over my hands, sticky-notes clinging to the edge of my coat, etc), and voilà! Crazy teacher-ish Maggie.
But I can't very well do that again, can I?
Please help me, or I'm going to have to fall back on the old tried-and-true moviestar gig!
