No time no time
...computer lab shutting.
But it's been a good day, and yesterday was nice too. Went to the EI with Carol last night, which was good craic - will put some pictures up one of these days of Gus and Rody dancing around. I was working this morning, and so not drinking, which as it turned out was good as the chiquitas I was with ended up needing some assistance walking home. Stayed the night at Carol's, work all day today - very very quiet in the shop, so I got some inventory sheets made and whatnot. My visa application is off in the post again, so with any luck I'll be ok to stay for the rest of the year! Lunch with Liz (Angus' wife who works in Floraidh, not Liz Sir Iain's PA), Carol on the bar (not looking well atall atall). Said my farewells to Douglas (who's leaving Praban, apparently) and Angus, both of whom popped in for a bit, and the same with the balaich in the 5:00 club after work. Got a lift home with Donnie and Sal (Donnie spent the whole ride encouraging me about the chanter -- such a lovely guy he is), and that's me done in the whisky shop! No more rolling out of bed at 7:30 on a Saturday to catch the bus! Which is just as well, as the buses stop running for the winter tomorrow. Sigh. Anyway, chilled in the room with a cup of tea for an hour or so, down the road to see the delinquents in the Tower, had a chanter lesson with Colin, and sat around drinking tea and eating oatcakes with him and Ishi and later Carol until I could no longer keep my eyes open, then back up the road. And here I am, and now I'm going to bed. Oidhche mhath!
