Kari had her appendix out last Friday and she came home from the hospital last night.  I wasn't expecting her to be home so soon but in true Norwegian fashion, that woman is stubborn beyond belief.

So on Wednesday I went to the doctor because I had been nauseous for like a week.  He didn't even bother asking if I took a pregnancy test or when my LMP was, he did a quick exam and diagnosed gastroenteritis, saying I was the third person that day with those symptoms.  He told me to take Zantac every night before bed and wouldn't you know it I  ( Read more... )

This is what I did yesterday:

• cleaned the kitchen
  • washed dishes
  • scrubbed out the sink with Comet
  • scrubbed the counters with bleach
• cleaned the bathroom
  
  • sink, toilet, mirror as per normal
  • scrubbed the tub with Comet
  • scrubbed the walls with bleach
  • scrubbed the cabinet doors with bleach
  • cleaned the floor with sponge because mop does not reach
