Music
So I keep finding artists that I really like for their music, but have crappy lives. And I know that if I told most people, "OMG, I totally love their music," they'd probably laugh at me. Then again, they can bite me.
A few days ago, I found some of Lindsay Lohan's music (don't ask how I got there...I don't remember) and discovered that I really like "Confessions Of A Broken Heart (Daughter To Father)." Never heard it? Go here: http://www.mediafire.com/?40m3yg3q43y.
I've always kinda liked most of the stuff that Britney Spears did. Especially "Sometimes" and some of her earlier music. But then, when she went more electronic and less un-spoiled virgin, I liked that too. Thing is, I realize that they've done some stupid shit. But I don't care.
I realized how much I like some of these sounds when I found out that Billie Piper sings (Rose on Doctor Who? yeah...she sings!). I'm sure that all my British/European friends are thinking "duh" right around now, but these things don't usually make it to the States. Dammit. Anyway, when I watched her stage performance for "Day And Night" and realized that (from an American perspective anyway) that she seems like the British Britney Spears. Seriously. And you can kinda hear how the sounds are very similiar.
So I guess all of this was a sort of treatise on my really weird taste in music.
What kind of music do you people like? Give me band names. Or songs. Or both. I wanna know how much crossover I have with my flist as far as music goes.
