She’s writhing beneath him, eyes closed and lips parted as she comes undone. It’s still sexy even if he feels like he’s secretly been with her for longer than he can even remember. Despite the fact that almost every time feels like some kind of déjà vu, he still comes back wanting more. Graham isn’t even that invested in her if he was forced to tell the truth, but he knows that isn’t what she wants either so it works for them. It’s convenience and sweaty sheets and smeared lipstick and leaving in the middle of the night.

There’s no commitment or tenderness when she looks at him, and he doesn’t offer it back. Instead he takes her late night calls or agrees when she pencils him in after a town meeting or a work dinner. She’s the one in charge, most of the time, and he prefers it that way. She’s demanding when she runs her nails through his hair, or when she tugs at his belt. She’s aggressive as she calls him “sheriff”; though occasionally he can hear the phrase “my pet” hiss from behind her teeth.

Her eyes open slowly, as he climbed off of her, his one hand still cupping her breast. She then used her hand to haphazardly swipe his hand off of her, but instead he squeezed. She raised an eyebrow then, and a half smile flashed upon her lips. It was only there for a moment, but it pushed him further, as he swiped his tongue around the base of her neck. He could practically hear her purr when his teeth nipped along her neck, his free hand slid into her dark hair. He tugged on her hair, tilting her head up so more of her neck was exposed before he left marks on her skin.

“Sheriff… It’s late.” She spoke sharply using the tone that he knew so well. That damn tone…

He slid his mouth from her neck to her lips, not letting her utter another word. He only had a minute or two before she would grow restless, but he wanted another flash of that smile. It was usually the goal of the evening - something that made him more invested although he didn’t know why. Maybe he did want more than just sweaty sheets and convenience. He wanted to feel something… and that smile was as close to a feeling as he could get.

“You need to go.” She sighed, pulling her lips away from him. Her lips curled into a frown, as she pushed his hands off her body. She then pulled the white sheet up to cover her body, signaling that she was done for the night.

He looked at her with a quiet gaze, never quite sure what to do or say. Should he thank her like he had a couple weeks back, or press his lips against hers one last time? Should he just offer some kind of goodbye while he was leaving like he did last week? There were these unspoken rules and he never seemed to get it right. Therefore he gave in and pressed his lips against hers a final time, before catching her bottom lip between his teeth. He tugged on it gently at first before pressing his teeth deeper into her flesh.

She recoiled with a flash, a smirk on her lips, her hair wild, and she never looked sexier. He pinned her down then; his body flush with hers, as she wiggled underneath him to be free. She opened her mouth to speak, but he covered her mouth with his hand… hard. He doesn’t want her biting remarks or annoyed sighs to ruin this… whatever this was. Graham wanted that smile, and he wasn’t going to leave until he got it.

“Madam Mayor, you need to stop squirming…” He ordered, his tone just as sharp as hers usually was. He could see her eyes shift then from annoyance to something else. “I don’t want you to talk.” He added, his voice gruff. “I’m going to move my hand, but no talking, Mayor.” He demanded, as he slid his hand away from her mouth, and instead settled on her throat. Hey eyes were searching his, and he could see the battle between giving in and gaining back control.

She began to open her mouth, but his hand was faster as it covered her red lips one more time. He knew he had enough time to wait, and he was patient enough. Therefore he remained still for a moment, watching to see her expression soften. When her eyes blinked up at him, curious instead of irked, he moved his hand down by her face and waited. Then with the same hand that had kept her quiet, he slid it over the top of her mouth, outlining her lips that had slowly formed into a faint smile.

The smile was fleeting, hesitant, but maybe that’s what brings him back each time. He remembers that smile, even though he’s sure that he’s not sure why. This smile is different than all her others. This smile is all Regina. He traces the smile one last time, before he climbs off her and silently puts his clothes back on. With only a small nod in her direction (without even the capability of looking her in the eye), Graham jumped out of her bedroom window onto the roof, and then into the night.
