Beware Of Vicious Rabid Fangirl.
I went for paintchat with F&S-san last night and, I must note with no small amount of pleasure that I had plenty of fun pushing all the fun buttons. XD Every one of my 'corrupted girls' contacts knows I'm extremely weak against ero and tentacle rape (brrr), so it's always a treat to imagine their jaws hitting the floor when once in a while the meek little gaijin spits out a picture which is all over wounds and blood. Funny how they group ero, blood and BCG (boy change girl) stuff together in terms of le horror. I mean, it's just BLOOD. I don't even draw serious gore. XD OhIamsoevil. Uh, with that said I liked my second pic of the night so much I cropped it out and sent it in to SheezyArt. You can view it here. I'm still unsure of the standards that govern excessive gore, so I stuck a mature warning on it to be safe. It DOES kind of have that Tiga/Dyna vibe after all.
This morning I was thinking gloating about the picture, and suddenly, I remembered this picture I drew waaaay back when I was still in high school (Wasn't THAT long ago, Mweeb.) It was this rendition of Gojyo and Houran from the still unwritten Kinki no Ko, where Houran goes into labour but Gojyo can't get her any treatment because no hospital OR clinic is willing to let them in. He ends up carrying her at some point. Cue the sudden overlapping of scenes, lines and fired-up!semes in my brain, and me spazzing out from equal parts of disgust, horror and unbridled glee.
Why oh why did I have to think of Tiga yellin' out "Somebody get a doctor, dammit!" 'Cos that's what Gojyo is saying in that pic, after all.
Watched Cosmos just earlier today. A bit surreal, but I thought the battle scene shooting was nice. It was the one with the mechanized Neldrant if anyone remembers. At the end when the demechanised monster comes stumping over to Cosmos and he pats the creature on the head, I just had to roll over in a fit of pure squee. He wasn't just PATTING the monster on the head - he was tickling it. It couldn't be anything else, the way he was gently running/drumming his fingers down the length of its ol' scaly head. And he looked so HAPPY doing it. Cosmos, yappari omae ga moesugi!!!
...And then the monster DIED. @_@ And Cosmos, had he been capable of human speech, would probably have turned the air blue with profanity and started to cry. ;_; The suit actor really outdid himself for this ep. I enjoyed it immensely, particularly since I finally got to hear the TV-size version of Kokoro no Kizuna. Quite fitting, if this was the first ep to use it as an ED theme.
O. And we all knew the Lone Wolf and Cub neta had to come in sometime in Samurai Jack. Baaahahahahaha! Kozure Ookami freaking Ippiki, kiddos! Darn it! Fangirlism overload...I need to start watching Samurai Jack again...*dies*
