Yahoo linked me to an interesting article tonight.  It never occurred to me that our EXIT sign in the US was completely different from everyone else, and after reading the article, I think (as with the metric system) the non-American version is better.  Ours demands that you can actually read English, while the meaning of the other is obvious to ( Read more... )

I got my ACT score in the mail today.  I'm not all that surprised with the stats, but I'm not sure I like the score either.  I did great on the English, especially the reading, but math didn't go so good.  The scores weren't bad exactly , but they were  a bit below what I'd been hoping for ( Read more... )
