Is it very wrong that I borrowed 'Star Trek' (2009) from LoveFilm, heartily enjoyed it, and am now thinking of buying the DVD? I can't help it. According to an article in the Mirror, the recent remake of Brideshead Revisited has bombed in the States. This is a bad state of affairs for any film, really, but I’m not surprised: there was absolutely no need to churn out a carbon copy of the 1980s miniseries, so why should anyone think that a new version over twenty-five years later could cash ( Read more... )
