I was going to wait until everything was official to post this, but I'm leaving to up north this weekend and honestly, I didn't want to have to wait until Tuesday night. But....drumroll please....

I'M MOVING OUT!

My friend Lora (who I guess is Roommate Lora now) and I have been talking about living together for over a year and we had to wait until I was done with school and got a job and all that kind of grown up stuff. Well, graduation came around, and my internship turned into a job (not full time with benefits, but oh well) and we were looking at apartments and houses to rent. But, to back up a little bit, my cousin Heather got engaged to her boyfriend over Mother's Day weekend. Fast forward to Father's Day weekend and she's telling my mom "Hey, why don't Breanne and her friend rent my house?"

BAM SAID THE LADY. We are renting the most adorable house in a really safe neighborhood (i mean, there's an elementary school in the sub, so cops patrol all the time PLUS tiny cute children!). Our move in date is the first full weekend in August and I can't believe how fast it happened! I was really afraid that there was a possibility I wouldn't be able to afford living on my own, but I did my budget (ALL BY MYSELF, I MIGHT ADD. At least I can add and divide) and it's totally doable. The only bummer is that I can't quit my daycare job like I wanted to, but in all honesty, it's easy money and I work there two Saturdays a month for 8 hours total. I can totally keep doing that for an extra $75.

I'm officially calling the funk over, and it's about time too. My summer is way too exciting to be moping around and thinking about the things that are going wrong in my life. I've got weddings coming up (both in and just attending), concerts (Peter Frampton! He's doing Frampton Comes Alive for the 35th anniversary, omg), Harry Potter part 2, and now house parties to plan (Nails & Margs party, chili cooking party, housewarming party, 80s bonfire party, bachelorette party...um holy crap).

So yay! Before I left Heather's house today, I got down on the ground and hugged it. HOUSE HUG!

life is so great
