So how is Livejournal nowadays? Long time no post!
Do you ever have times when you try your hardest but it still seems that all people hone in on is your faults?
Anyway, I don't want to dwell on angsty thoughts really but I just wondered if I'm the only one who ever has those times. I wonder if it is because our faults are so large and ungainly that as a person you can't see past them so you can't imagine anyone else can either. Whatever, I just wish I could be one of those deluded, arrogant people who can only see the faults in others and not in theirselves. It must be nice leading such a blinkered existence where, no matter what happens in life, you can be sure that you aren't ever in the wrong.
Like the rest of the world (or so it sometimes seems) I've decided to have a crack at writing a novel. I haven't written anything in a long time but in my head I've been formulating a novel. It's not something I planned; it just happened. I want to start commiting it to paper; it's just getting the first few pages sorted.
