So, anyone who has read the Sookie Stackhouse books... um, do they get better? I listened to the first one on audiobook, and it was okay. Then I get to the second one and Lafayette practically dies on the first page! I'm going with the TV show, which is better IMO, as canon. I resented the Shawshank Redemption reference by Old!Flash on last night's ep. The guy in that ep hadn't been in jail long and his girlfriend teleported him out of prison. Andy spent 27 years in prison and dug a freakin' tunnel to get out.
