Thing I am noticing about my own writing: I kind of have a geography kink. Pity I'm always writing about real places I don't live in. -.-

ETA: I have decided that this is a think I want: a ST:XI Wild West AU in which Kirk and McCoy are famous gunslingers (Bones McCoy and the Iowa Kid?). I'm telling you, this would be amazing.

Anybody free for a late-afternoon ramble in re: my remix fic? I feel the need to talk through some of the finer points of what I'm trying to do. Fandom is ST:XI, pairing is Kirk/McCoy, and I'd rather not give anything else away.

Ooh, got my remix assignment! Aaaaand...the fandom I matched on is one that I've not really written anything for! /o\ 'Swhat I get for expanding my horizons in this year's offer.

Ah, well. Plowing through a load of new fic is not the worst way to spend spring break, even if it will interfere with my to-do list a little.
