There are things that will now only run on Yosemite.  But does my "ancient" MacBook Pro (8Gb 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7) have the power to run it?  Has anyone out there doen it and will it work?

So Apple release Logic Pro X and I JUST finished mastering Logic 9. I purchased Logic 8 not knowing entirely what I was doing, but to this day I know music producers and remixers that use Logic 8 and swear it can do everything Logic 9 can.

So I ask - is Logic Pro X worth the upgrade?

If I put an item in my iCal calendar on my Mac Book Pro and sync with my iPhone, that works fine. However, if I put the item in my iPhone calendar and then sync it doesn't go into my iCcal on my laptop. Anyone any idea what the problem is?

I have an iPhone 4S and am using Mac Os 10.5.8 on my laptop.
