Well, the ice storm messed up all our schedules. We worked 12 hours every day, and I slept here wed night. We're up to seven floor tracks now, and we've finished guitars and keyboards for 4 tunes. Today we started about an hour late by the time Colton and I got to the studio, but the rocking started immediately. We finished the guitars on "Here We Go"...it was nice. Today was another 12 hour day. We picked up laying down bass tracks for "Pieces" (which sounded much better without the accompanying jug of wine). Colton passed out on the couch while we finished up with Tavis' parts. Then we rearranged all the cameras and wiring to switch views of the cotrol room for the webcast. So, I finished tracking Keith's record... it sounds sweet. The irritating and fun thing about the new way I make records is that everything is laid down so quick and methodical, there are rarely mixes that sound worth a crap at the end off tracking.
