Last night was the ninth time I've seen Bryan Adams live, but the first time I've ever been for a pre-gig pub crawl *inside* the concert venue itself. :-)

Thanks to recsat's old MD recorder and my new microphone I've got a surprisingly good quality recording of the first hour and a half of the gig - at which point the battery unfortunately died. ( Read more... )

I was queuing up in the bank waiting to pay some money in Superdrug waiting to buy some chocolate at lunchtime, and the smell of hairspray being emitted from the woman in front of me was utterly overpowering. I quite like my Nissan Micra hire-car y'know. I especially like the remote-locking. I've spent much more time than I sensibly should have remotely locking and unlocking the thing from varying angles and distances and probably looking a right plank in the process.
