Fings ...

I quite like my Nissan Micra hire-car y'know. I especially like the remote-locking. I've spent much more time than I sensibly should have remotely locking and unlocking the thing from varying angles and distances and probably looking a right plank in the process. But I don't care, it's a toy none of my cars have ever had and I'm enjoying it. I've never had a car with a CD player or air-conditioning either, but that's another story.

One thing I'm not so keen on is the overly-power-assisted-soopa-sensitive brakes. To say you only need to touch them would be a gross overstatement. I only need to *think* about touching them, and the electrical impulse triggered by my brain doesn't even have time to travel down to my foot before the vehicle is screaching to a sudden halt with the back half of it being catapulted painfully upwards over the roof before crashing back down to the dusty tarmac again. It tends to scare the drivers behind me too.

And as already mentioned in a comment on recsat's LJ, I've just realised that I went hugely overdrawn last month. Not good. Therefore the £95 I've just spent on Bryan Adams tickets for October is going to have to join the back of the newly created MachoGrande Awaiting Payment In The Year God-Knows-When queue.
