Had an unusually action-packed weekend; on Saturday we went over to Windsor to celebrate Kevin's 31st Birthday with the traditional chinese grub-fest at Yang Tze, (a few phonecam pics from the night are under the cut,) and on Sunday Wifey, Ritu, Kevin and I had a horrifyingly early start to the day as we headed up to Heathrow airport for icemachine's

Had a surprise visit this weekend as icemachine flew into town for, ooh about 24 hours, and fortunately we were able to meet up with him for a quick bite to eat at a local public house :
I'm almost certain I saw icemachine driving a Reading & Wokingham Coaches Coach this morning whilst I was shivering at the bus-stop. Can't believe he didn't stop to give me a lift. Git.
Met up with icemachine - on his latest transatlantic jaunt - and some other amigos at La Tasca in Ealing last night.
Witty and entertaining company as always, although unfortunately I was not quite so enamoured with the food which, for £23 a head, was fairly average. Plus we were duped into paying £44.75 for paella - and while admittedly it was possibly

Good weekend - finally finished painting the downstairs internal doors which now look *fab*; spent much of the weekend at the hospital but the good (and somewhat surprising) news is that Dad is being released today (Hmm. Makes him sound like a convict - OK, discharged today. Yes. Better); and yesterday caught up with icemachine, yffy, rubberglover et al at erictheoffred's BBQ. Photos
