2007 - A year in review

Dec 31, 2007 16:22

I had full plans of being in my sewing room right now, but oh well.  It will be a new year in less than 8 hours, I can start with the finishing up of stuff then.

As most of you know-2007 was not a great year for me or our families.  I hate to wish my life away, but I am glad to see it go.  2008 will be a year of new beginnings I hope.  In many respects.  I have learned a lot this year and hope that I will not lose that knowledge.  I hope to find a new job this year.  I hope for other things as well.  But I hope most of all for good health for both of our families this year.

I am thankful for all the people I've met this year and reconnected with as well.  I hope to continue to strengthen those friendships into 2008.

There was a meme going around where people were to post the first sentence? of each month.  I think too many of mine probably started with "Another month has gone by and nothing has changed."  Well.  I can say a year has gone by and a lot has changed.

But at least 2007 is going to end better than it started out.  And it is going to end better than 2006 did.

I know I have grown and matured this year and that scares me.  A lot.  But its the way of life, as is change.

So.  Off to figure out how I am going to send one of the worst years of my life into the past.

I hope 2008 is productive, promising and healthy for each and every one of you.
