Short one
Its getting late and I'm tired (being on a laptop in the bedroom is NEVER a good idea....I feel like SUCH a geek ;) Two laptops in the bedroom. lol.)
Anyways, I had to look and see when I last posted. Wow. I can't even remember everything between then and now. I saw Shauna's play, "Law and Order, Fairy Tale Unit" It was cute. I enjoyed it and she even had a speaking part :) So it was fun to watch.
Then there was my choir Christmas party. It was nice talking to people and getting to know some of them outside of choir (we never seem to have time to talk-but then again with me being in bells, I don't socialize before choir) .
Pete and I went to Matrix on saturday after enjoying dinner at the Iguana Grill (that is one of my favorite restaurants on South Side) . We had fun and I even got to watch him dance!!!! :)
Sunday was visiting with the in-laws for a bit. Millie is doing extremely well. She's finished with chemo and is getting ready to go onto radiation. And speaking of. my mom is done with radiation and is doing well her self.
Monday was Christmas Eve. I spent the afternoon getting stuff made and my nose in a book. Pete picked me up and we went to his mom's side to do Christmas with them. It was cool. Fun to watch all the kids (I need to raid his camera to show off our neices). Then I went to church. I had forgotten how beautiful the candlelight service was. Pete picked me up and came home. And I got my present for Christmas from pete. It was the one thing I wanted, so it made Christmas perfect. (sometimes, its not tangible gifts....)
Christmas was good as well. We went to Mom's and then to his Dad's. Got a lot of nice stuff. So it was cool :) Lots of gift cards which are always fun to spend.
Yesterday was an enjoyable day off and then today-back to work :P Ah well.
so those were my holidays in a nutshell
and now to bed....
