Pepper is my snuggle cat. This is usually great, but last night he wanted to snuggle so badly that every hour or so, he'd start meowing at the top of his lungs until I woke up.

Not. Cool. Dude.

I'm tired and grumpy today and just want to take a nap.

I've been thinking a lot about international travel lately. I've always had a lot of wanderlust, but M is a big homebody and doesn't want to really venture out that much. I want for us to take an overseas trip every year, but he hems and haws about it and tells me just to make the plans and he'll go along wherever. But I want him to enjoy it, too! I finally pried a few locations out of him that he'd like to visit, so I'm thinking of doing a yearly switch off - a place I want to go one year (like Paris this May) and a place he wants to go the next.

So, the now I am trying to plan a trip to Morocco, since that's his #1 international destination. I know nothing about Morocco, except that Casablanca is a city there. I'm trying to do some research, and I've found a few neat looking things that we both would probably like. There is a huge Roman city ruin, which we would both love. There's a night market in Marrakesh that looks really fun, with lots of street performers, acrobats, musicians, and stuff like that. Accommodations look like they are super cheap - you can rent an entire house in Marrakesh, with a full staff, for around $70/night. For a no-frills sort of place, it's closer to $20-40/night. I'll take the full staff, thank you! Because honestly, it's probably the closest I'll ever get to having my own domestic staff. XP

Anyone know of anything else good to see or do in Morocco?

#1, travel
