Anyway, a while back just for fun I had this idea for a fake ID card I wanted to create (well, actually, I "borrowed" by idea from Steve Woz, who mentioned it on his website).  So, I took my photos of myself, then added in some text and a cool background, printed it out, had it laminated and presto!

I was roaming around Snopes.com, the webpage on various urban legends, when I came across this link to a place over in Lake Geneva, Switzerland that had several pictures of the aftermath of a HUGE ice storm that they had back in January of 2005.  Not only was there a ton of icy rain going around, the winds were reaching up to SIXTY miles per hour ( ( Read more... )

Okay, I had this crazy idea for a project.. Okay, first up, I know it's been awhile, but usually I don't do too many entries on workdays.  When I get home after work, I usually just want to vegetate
