Stupid dreams...

Had this dream last night (actually it was about three nights ago, I wrote this earlier and am just now posting it).  In the dream, I went to a reunion amongst the people I went to elementary school with or, more accurately, the first elementary school I went to Logan Elementary (in fifth grade I moved from Illinois to Missouri.)  ( Read more... )

When I was a little kid, and I had a fan near my bed, I used to turn the fan on high and put one of my sheets partially over it, so the wind from the fan would "inflate" the sheet, giving me this neat little hideaway.  Sometimes I'm imagine I was camping.

Okay, well, I took my last final yesterday.  Well, actually it wasn't a final in the traditional sense, it was a movie presentation.  Two of my finals were presenting my final project, and the other one was the bigass two part test which I've mentioned about in a previous journal.  IF you're curious, I'm not sure I did so well on that test, there ( Read more... )

Haven't been posting much of late, for various reasons.  Among other things I've been rather depressed of late.  I'm really not sure the two ideas I have for my video projects are very good ones, as they force me to focus on two aspect of my life that bring me down, but I'll be damned if I could come up with anything else.  One project, as I ( Read more... )

Just checked the imdb and there's two movies playing at the local theater, Ghost Rider and Bridge to Terabithia.  Haven't heard of Bridge, but although it sounds like a decent film, don't think I'll watch it tonight.  Coming of age/childhood friendship type movies always have a tendency to get me very depressed.  (It's a long story.)

God, I really, REALLY, hope this doesn't suck.

I know, I'm gonna come off more nerdy than usual, but I want this to work.  The orignal series was one of the definining moment in my childhood, and I'd hate to see all those good memories sullied by a crappy film....

I've got it set up to where whenever someone uploads a new user pic, I get a message telling me about it.  This one friend I have (I won't mention who) seems to make a habit of cleaning out and replacing her user pics (all 20 or so of them) about every three months or so.  Whenever this happens I get a message for EACH pic that she uploads.
