reopen my eyes into simple sunlight
blinding, binding sight turns into bright white
i can't see a damn thing...
squinting until i catch a glimpse of what i imagined to be you
with long, slender limbs...walking quietly...
towards...
and then it's gone
the image that was so clear
in the light that i couldn't see...
gasp and put my hands upon the ground
blink and see your feet standing there
until i lift my head to catch a glimpse of what i imagined to be you,
that horrid light takes your place
and i gasp again
and blink again
and gasp
throwing my hands toward the ground
hoping you'd just reappear for my sake...
until i completely lose my mind...
and i kneel there...
wishing it would just
fit...
