And seconds after posting up my last entry, about science reporting, new_scientist's headline today is the shocking news that The behaviour of proteins that are popular with researchers is more likely to be reported inaccurately than that of their less fashionable counterparts.

Even proteins are not exempt from celebrity status, obviously!!!

Have just been freaked out by Scott Adams - he's blogging about the virtual universe again here. What he suggests is not new (Thirteenth Floor anyone???) But it's freaky because of the punchline.
