Haha! So we were watching some Superman movie (my brother turned it on in the middle), I don't know what one, and
Superman was drowning and Lois and some guy and a kid were looking for him, and then they found him and he asked how, and they said the kid had spotted them. So my brother was explaining this to me because I'd been too wrapped up in Mahjong Titans™ on mum's computer to notice what was going on, and Derek (my brother) said it implied the kid was Superman's, because he had super-vision. And then he said... "Parental Super-vision." !!!! I cracked up!! I laughed so hard! And mum came in wondering what the deal was with her crazy hysterical daughter. Man, my brother is such a genius. Hahahah.
I think the movie is almost done now but I quit watching anyway because I got sick of TV/media/Hollywood/etc (all the commercials and the trailers and the incredibly annoying TVguide-esque tv show hosts (nerdy short middle aged guy and hot leggy blonde girl in a revealing red dress. hmmmm) and the bleahhghgkjahgkhag enough!) Plus, it's a bragging point to be able to say, "Nope, I never saw that movie either!!" (not that seeing one movie to the end would hurt my rep much. do you know how many movies I haven't seen? almost all of them! almost all of them in the whole world!! I revel in my ignorance... at least on the topic of movies.)
As for things I am not quite so ignorant of, we have so many tulips coming up right now! They are beautiful! I love tulips!!! Plus I think our yard has the best display of them ever, because they are all different heights and shapes and colours mixed up together, and usually I just see these big plantings of like two different kinds, usually red and yellow, and man is that ever BORING. Or sometimes people have just like... 4 tulips in front of their yard, and that just looks kinda halfhearted and sad (although it's nice that they tried, anyway!). I think I'm going to take pictures of tulips tomorrow, because I don't have to work! Yay! So I will show them to you all, and you can rejoice over the springfulness with me!
I tipped over a cup of lemonade tonight. I had just won a game of Mahjong Titans™ (cat-layout is a lot easier than turtle) and was all excited and then there went my lemonade. Sad. And then my mum and brother finished almost all the popcorn while I was cleaning up. More sad.
But otherwise it was a good, happy day! The sun sunned and the flowers bloomed and the cat and I roamed about! (and I worked (oh and I missed my bus because it was 6 minutes early, even though I was like... 5 minutes early! darn it!! but Curt kindly picked me up and brought me the rest of the way to work and it was craaaaazy busy but that made it go fast, especially since I was only there for 5 hours! yay!))
