We spent yesterday afternoon packing away the Christmas decorations. :{ Christmas is my favorite holiday, and I kind of have trouble letting go of it. (Okay, once when I was maybe six or seven years old, my parents had to wait until I was safely away in the bathroom for a bath before they could take the decorations down. I've become a lot more helpful since then, but I'm probably still just as mopey and pathetic.) I really would leave everything up through January, at least, if I could. T-T I think the saddest part is that once the holidays are over, we still have about...five more months of unrelenting winter here. *goes under a blanket*
And now...two days at once!
Day 7
In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts. Drop a link to your wish-list in this post. Maybe someone will grant a wish. Maybe you will grant a wish. If any wishes are granted, we'd love it if you link them to this post.
Urgh. This is definitely the hardest day so far, at least for me, because I'm not even good at thinking of anything I want for my birthday. :P I've been thinking about this for the last two days, though, so here is what I came up with:
I'm no great icon-maker; 90% of my icons are always made by people far more talented than I am. However, ever since I first watched the G1 episode "Desertion of the Dinobots" (in which Cybertonium depletion is causing the Autobots and Decepticons to glitch), I've wished for a certain icon. It would be the short animation of Megatron spinning on one foot
here between 00:20 and 00:24, and somewhere on it would be the text "Megatron's ballerina dream." Anyone who could actually do this would earn my endless and undying devotion. I WOULD SHARE MY PIE WITH YOU. ♥♥♥
The only other thing I've ever really, really wanted is one of
plushbot27's plushies--specifically Optimus--but I would have no idea how to even begin obtaining one. I will have to admire from afar.
Day 8
In your own space, talk about a talent (or talents) you have. Everyone's got something they're good at. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
This feels a little repetitive, so I'll keep it brief. Sometimes, I think I'm good at this writing thing. I spend quite a lot of time on it, which is part of the reason that I'm so disappointingly slow at updating anything. I also enjoy it more than pretty much anything else I do. ♥
