Just a quick note to say that my laptop seems to have died, so I will be on an enforced internet diet until further notice.
I've dropped it into a repair shop, and I'm desperately hoping they can salvage the hard drive, otherwise I'll have lost about 10,000 words of unposted fanfic, about 20,000 words of original fiction (although I do most of my drafting by hand these days, thank god, so the nuggets of all these are lying around in hard copy) and various other important files. Not to mention the fact that I won't be able to work. Argh. Back up your stuff, people!
